Installation Process

Updating your 992 GT3 wing end plates is a simple process. First, remove the OEM wing plates by unscrewing the two screws on the underside of each wing plate. Gently pull on the rear portion of the wing plate until the 3M adhesive is exposed. Carefully remove the adhesive with a flat-edged tool, like a door panel removal tool, to avoid scraping or damaging surfaces. After removing the adhesive, use both hands to slide the wing plates off, removing the clips in the process. 

After the original wing plates are off, simply reverse the process to install your new carbon fiber wing end plates. Carefully align the new wing plates with the original mounts and slide them into place. After the clips are refastened, apply the included 3M adhesive tape and reattach the two screws on each underside of the wings. Check for accurate alignment and a secure fitment; the wing plates should not shift or wobble when pressure is applied.

For extra material safety, you can apply an optional secondary carbon fiber protectant like wax or ceramic coating if desired to defend your parts further.
