Fabspeed Porsche 997 Carrera Performance Package (2005-2008)

This includes software, known as tunes, that reprogram a motor vehicles electronic control module to alter engine performance and enable the removal of filters, catalysts, and other critical emissions controls.

This package is a complete high-performance exhaust & intake solution for the 997 Carrera.                         

Fabspeed's 997 Carrera Performance Package replaces the restrictive OEM mufflers and factory cats with high-performance mufflers and 200-cell HJS Sportcats or Catbypass pipes for a deeper, throatier exhaust note and improved power and throttle response.  The included Performance Headers replace the restrictive factory headers and with high-flowing motorsport headers.  Lastly, the restrictive factory airbox is replaced by Fabspeed's Carbon Fiber Competition Intake System which increases the cold air flow into the engine for better power and sound.  All of these upgrades are then optimized by the Fabspeed ECU Tune which re-maps the timing, air-fuel ratios, and more in order to take full advantage of the upgraded components.

• You must review our MyGenius ECU Tuning Guide and email the ECU Tuning Information form to us. We utilize this form to ensure we meet your needs and consider your modifications to deliver the best possible results.
• You must have access to a PC / Windows computer (Mac OS not supported) to upload your factory file information to us via email and in turn apply our ECU Tune to your MyGenius device. 
• Upon sending us your vehicle information, our tuner will email you a custom ECU Tune(s) within 1-2 business days. 
• The MyGenius device "marries" with your vehicle and can only be used on one vehicle.
• If you are using a GT3 throttle body, you must also order our GT3 Throttle Body Adapter

INSTALLATION NOTE: To ensure proper header seal, after initial heat cycle, tighten all exhaust bolts to the OEM torque specs.

Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters: 

HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. Sport Catalytic Converter (STREET) - This product removes the OEM catalytic converters from the vehicle, and as such, is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only. This product contains a High-Flow Sport Catalytic Converter solely intended for track and race cars as it is NOT California Air Resources Board Certified and not EPA certified. You are hereby informed and warned to check your local, state, and federals laws before buying and installing these or any aftermarket parts to be sure whether usage is in violation. All installation-risk and use-risk is borne by the end-user and installer of these parts.

Cat Bypass (RACE) - This product removes the OEM catalytic converters from the vehicle, and as such, is strictly intended for closed track events and off-road use only. This product is or contains a Racing Cat Bypass Pipe, which will give you check engine lights on OBD2 cars. We suggest pairing this product with racing software to prevent fault codes and check engine lights. Racing Cat Bypass Pipes are solely intended for track and race cars as they are NOT California Air Resources Board Certified and not EPA certified.
